The Excitement Builds as Young Designers Begin Crafting the Permanent Logo for the WB Berlin Process Summit

“In design thinking wrong, is right”

Valbona, Albania – In the stunning landscape of Valbona, six young designers have come together for an exciting mission: creating the permanent logo for the Western Balkans Berlin Summit, one of the region’s most important events.

Following a competitive selection process with over 70 applications, the talented team includes Alkid Shuli (Albania), Rreze Guri (Kosovo*), Amila Redzic (Bosnia and Herzegovina), Lana Klenak (Montenegro), Bojan Budzarovski (North Macedonia) and Milana Ruzic (Serbia). Under the guidance of Fisnik Ismaili, an experienced and well-known Creative Director, these designers gathered for an inspiring workshop, marking so the beginning of the creative process to design a captivating logo that will stand the test of time.

Each designer was chosen for their unique style and creativity. From new graduates to those with more experience, their diverse backgrounds and ideas create an exciting mix.

The weekend was filled with bold ideas, embracing the philosophy that “in design, thinking wrong is right.” The workshop brimmed with energy and innovation, marking a strong start to their creative journey. Over the next weeks, they will refine their designs, concluding with the official presentation of several proposals to the selection committee, including German representatives.

This year, the Berlin Process Summit celebrates its 10th anniversary. The summit will take place on October 14, 2024, in Berlin, bringing together representatives from the Western Balkans and EU member states.
