This week, a key meeting was held at the Ministry for Youth, Social Policies, and Demography in Skopje. Minister Fatmir Limani met with RYCO Secretary General Mr. Albert Hani and Mr. Vladimir Gjorgjevski, Head of the RYCO Local Branch Office in North Macedonia.
Minister Limani reaffirmed the Ministry’s commitment to supporting RYCO and the youth of North Macedonia and the broader Western Balkans. He assured his active participation in the RYCO Governing Board and pledged to support crucial processes and projects impacting youth and regional cooperation.
Secretary General Mr. Hani briefed Minister Limani on significant RYCO developments, including the 10th Anniversary of the Berlin Process, the upcoming Youth Forum, and the development of the new RYCO Strategy 2025-2027. RYCO also welcomed the Ministry’s new strong focus on youth as a core competency, recognizing it as a positive step towards enhanced youth empowerment.
The meeting highlighted the importance of ongoing collaboration and mutual support between the Ministry and RYCO. Both Secretary General Hani and Mr. Gjorgjevski appreciated the Ministry support, which is vital for advancing RYCO’s mission and driving positive change in the region.
